Crafted with Love.

Made with love in Hyrum, Utah.

Every cake is made fresh, by hand, in my own little kitchen. No shortcuts, no box mixes, just good ingredients and a whole lot of care.

About the Baker

Hyrum, Utah. A home kitchen. A whole lot of love.

Well hello there. My name is Elizabeth, and I have been baking out of my little kitchen here in Hyrum for the better part of thirty years. A kind young neighbor finally sat me down and helped me put together a proper little website, so here we are.

Every cake that leaves my counter is made fresh to order. I do not keep a thing in the freezer, I do not take shortcuts, and I do not bake anything I would not happily set in front of my own family on a Sunday afternoon.

Hyrum is the sort of place where folks run small businesses right out of their homes, and most of them are awfully good at it. I just want the people around here to know they can get a beautiful, custom cake without driving all the way to Logan or Salt Lake. If you want red velvet, I will make you red velvet. If you have something else on your heart, you tell me, and we will figure it out together.

The Promise

A few little things I will always stand behind.

Made From Scratch

Real butter, real cream, real vanilla. The only box you will find in my kitchen is the one I bring the cake out to you in.

Baked the Day Before

Your cake goes in the oven the evening before you pick it up, so it is fresh as can be when it arrives on your table.

One Cake at a Time

I only take on a handful of cakes each week, so every single one gets my full attention, the way it ought to.

A Little Peek

A few favorites coming out of the kitchen this season.

✦ A Note From My Kitchen ✦

“A cake ought to taste like somebody loved you enough to make it for you. That is the whole secret, truly.”

The Little Touches

The small things that make a cake feel like a real gift.

Fresh Flowers

Edible blossoms from the garden out back when the weather is kind, tucked between the layers just so.

A Handwritten Note

Every cake leaves the kitchen with a little card, tied with a ribbon. Just a small something to brighten the day.

Cake Stand on Loan

I have a few pretty stands gathered over the years. You are welcome to borrow one for the day, no charge at all.

Recipe Tucked In

If a cake makes you happy, just ask, and I will write the recipe out by hand for you to take home.

How It Works

Four little steps from your idea to a cake on the counter.

01

Send a Note

Tell me your name, a phone number, and the cake you have in mind. That is truly all I need to begin.

02

We Visit a Spell

I will text you back within a day or so to sort out the details, the size, the design, and a fair price for it all.

03

I Bake It Fresh

Everything goes in the oven the day before pickup. Nothing from the freezer, ever. That is a promise.

04

Come Pick It Up

Porch pickup right here in Hyrum. Local delivery is also available around Cache Valley for a small fee.

Kind Words

A few sweet notes from folks around the valley.

Elizabeth made our daughter's wedding cake and I cried a little when I saw it. It tasted even better than it looked, which I did not think was possible.

The red velvet is the best I have ever had in my whole life, and I have had a lot of red velvet. I am not being dramatic, I promise.
Janet W.Hyrum, UT

She remembered my little boy was shy of frosting and made his birthday cake just the way he likes it. That meant the world to us.
